It also depends on the school.
And the type of people in the year. I really don't like the year 8's this year but the 7's are actually pretty good. They're not so up themselves and think becuase they've hit highschool they're awesome.

Well, it goes like this. You begin high school and you're slowly fitting in, soon making lots of lovely friends, and as you advance in years, you realise just how much the older years hated the younger ones. Why? They got in the way. They were n00bs. They were silly. Loud, obnoxious. Oh and they thought they were all top-stuff skanks.
But no pressure. We older years tend to leave the young ones alone and go about with our own classes, maybe muttering under our breath.
High school is good.

When I started high school, every other year hated us. But by hating us, they really just left us alone. Of course, the older kids still walk around and act obnoxious to scare people, and insult everyone 'coz they're too scared to do anything back. ;D

Just try and ignore most people above your year.

When I was a freshman, we got hit with vineager at the homecoming pep rally.

Most of the time people leave freshman alone. It really isn't as bad as media claims it to be.

Just be yourself and you'll be fine.

You'll be fine. Its Junior high just with bigger kids. Trust me, you'll be fine. You'll make a sh*t load of friends an the guys are built. High school was the best six years of my life. YEAH BOI.

High school is more hyped up than it actually is.

The worst thing that happened to freshmen at my school was being cut in front of in the lunch line. That and people sighing, "Such a freshman" when someone does something stupid is probably the worst you'll encounter.

Just keep your head down, and don't disrespect upperclassmen, and you'll be fine.
