On the heat: Yeah, I hear the whole of Florida is like a sauna in August. Whenever I've gone, it's been in February or April, when it's usually pretty pleasant. It can still get pretty warm, though, even in winter.

I read this whole thing and it's seriously made me want to take the next plane to Florida. I'm going to have to work really hard to convince my parents 'cause it does sound kind of costly, but I don't care, aha. xD
