Vampire fever only exists because Twilight created a world in which vampires and werewolves are sensitive, loving, gorgeous, and perfect creatures that every young girl dreams of.

I myself would prefer a vampire that would rather suck me dry than cuddle with me. >.>

but ah, are you kidding? There's a lot of stuff about werewolves too.
I do have to agree, they should try something new -
Like True Blood for example, they have all kinds of supernatural creatures besides just vampires.

Such as were-panthers, shape-shifters, fairies, and sorry if I spoil this for anyone, but in the fourth season they are going to bring witches into the show as well.
