At least you are open about it. My own family doesn't even know I'm atheist. And what everyone else said, they aren't your friends. I'm friends with someone who is super religous, but we still respect eachother as friends.
Goat is right. That boy is not how Christians should act. Your beliefs shouldn't be used against you. Harlot gave some great advice. Get yourself new friends.
I'm an athiest. It's not just a phase for me. I have friends that believe in god, and they do not ridicule me for my lack of faith. They are real friends. From what you have said, your friends do not sound like true ones.
However, if you really don't want to lose them, maybe try talking to them about how you feel. Tell them your side of the story and why you don't believe it's fair that they're calling you names. It's not right to let them do that to you.
Honey, those aren't friends then. I'm atheist and one of my best friends in the whole wide world is Christian. Real friends respect other friends beliefs. I say get new friends.
I used to be friends with a very religious guy. Then he told me I was going to go to hell for liking girls. Needless to say, I don't really talk to him that much anymore... -__-
You're never too young to love God. If those Christians are calling you bad names, then they're setting a bad example for Christians everywhere. That is not how we behave and treat other people.
Eh. I went through a phase where I thought I was too cool for religion. Then, I started noticing that whenever I was in trouble, I would pray to God, who would answer my prayers.
I can honestly say that it's just a phase; you'll figure it out, and so will the people around you. In the meantime, just ignore them. They'll get over it.
And what everyone else said, they aren't your friends. I'm friends with someone who is super religous, but we still respect eachother as friends.
