OH. YES. I agree with florence. I read your original. This is way better than your original version (sorry, haha!).
There were some really interesting ideas with your original one though, it'll be cool if you can re-develop some of the characters and the plot line again. I'll definitely read it! :D

Aww if you decide to write this, it will be awesome. It reminds me of World of Warcraft for some reason. I love hooded and mysterious characters. Heck I love everything mysterious. I downloaded the typed file but I hadn't had a chance to read it all. :)

I definitely think you could make something great with what you have here! It's much much much better than the original version (sorry younger Emily), and it'd be interesting to see what happens if you do someday decide to re-write the entire thing. (:
