Heh, I have a similar deal living with my dad, privileged and middle-class though we may be. My mate has an awesome term for these kinds of situations. He calls them 'First World problems'.
I get that it's still frustrating, though. Although most people have it worse than us, we generally can't see things in guru-like perspective when we're feeling impeded in the moment... because we want to watch TV, goddammit! But hey, it won't last forever. Being a teenager and living at the mercy of your parents, unlike a lot of problems, is something you can outgrow. And that's only a worst-case scenario- if you can't work out some clever scheme in the meantime. Which I'm sure you will.
