I actually stopped trick or treating around your age. Not because of my parents though. It was my own choice.

I'm not going because I think I'm too old... And it's just not fun to me anymore.

Not going either, it's not really a big thing over here. Not many people do it. I am too old, though it would've been fun. It's not up to my mum if I want to go trick-or-treating or not, but I don't have a costume

I'm not going because I have school the next day after a half term holidays so need to finish all the coursework -.-

I'm not going trick-o-treating. I find I am too old, ya know after Primary school it's kinda classed as begging if you don't go with a little kid of some sort. Silly, I know. But I find it's boring, and I would like to have my toes and fingers still entacted, thanks.
