I'm really glad you shared all this with us, it was really great. If you could (And if you haven't already.) I'd suggest you to write a book about your times with your grandma, I think it would be healing and a great adventure. And just the way you wrote this was inspiring.

My grandma died when I was 9, I hardly remember her, but I wasn't such a great kid...I took everyone for granted...Especially her. And sometimes I just look back and wish I still had her, because now...She would probably be one of my best friends.

Your grandmother was a great woman, she went through so much. It's nice how you were so close to her and also thought well of her. This journal made me teary eyed, it was beautiful.

Aww I love how she had such a better life in her last days.
I envy that you had such a relationship with your nan, my grandmothers and both dead and my grandfathers, well they live in a different country.

Hearing about other people's grandparents makes me happy though.
