mibba for social networking?? - Comments

kk just throwing this out there lol there are actually a lot of guy's on here too , myself and VCross for instance, are actually males. I understand what you are all stating about the whole they could be girls, but and im just saying, some of the females could be guy's as well. Because some guys think that with a hot girls picture as their's more views.

Mrs. Forrest Gump - haha I love that movie, that's kinda why I joined too :) I just like the whole Idea of this site, I used to be on quizilla, I think I still am, then a lot of my favorite writers started moving to mibba, and that's how I found this site =D

I would think the forums/journals/friends/comments/etc sections were created so that writers and readers could provide feedback and support to each other, no?
And if others wanna use it to chat only, well I guess that's up to them.

Eh, they don't bother me. I don't pay any mind, really.

I joined because I was trying to read a story and it said that I couldn't read it unless I became a member... so... here I am today. ^.^
I basically joined to write a few journals here and there and read. I don't really plan on writing, because I can't write to save my life (no exaggeration).

minaj- I know, I still like mibba, I know it still has plenty of writers...etc... just making an observation

It's not like all the stories are disappearing just because of these people joining for social networking purposes only though, you know? There's still plenty of writers and readers.

Airi-chan- mibba's home page does say it's a "creative writing site"
but I agree, however, I think it was for people who shared a common interest to bond, like how mythology could be a forum topic ( if it isn't already) Idk...do you think people who don't like to read, or write, want to talk about mythology?

In a way, this site wasn't only for writing/reading to begin with anyway. If it was, why would they have journals and forums to chat on? Lots of people are still into writing/reading here and I'm sure there always will be.

it's kinda for folks who have certain things in common... it's fun because, it kinda makes you feel like you're not the only one

I was just thinking the same thing...and like the others said, they're probably fakes. Mibba has changed since I joined two years ago. I don't like all of the changes, but nothing will ever stay the same. We just have to get used to it.

@Airi-chan yeah I know, that was kinda one of my pros...but Idk it is a writing site after all, I like to chat as much as the next person, but I also read A LOT and write, because I like to do it, that's why I joined
& I loved the fact that everyone on the site, liked to do what I do...but now... it's like myspace or something hahaha, idk if I mind it that much, I guess I'd just rather they write something...or read something...or at least enjoy/appreciate writing/reading/creativity

Well, it has social networking stuff on it like idk...the chat room, profiles, profile comments, friends, and a little bit of blogging. (The journal section.) Without these things mibba wouldn't be so fun. :/

Half of the males joining are probably girls desperate for attention. Just saying.

I don't see anything wrong with being here to talk. I mean, if they're being respectful and followng the rules, why should it be a problem?
