Don't talk, and live on cough drops and tea :)

Warm drinks, bananas are good for you, honey is really good, tea is good, too, but I agree, you should probably check Google or something.
Nothing with milk, because that doesn't really help your voice.

Thermaflu, Chloreseptic spray, and Ramen noodles.

Anything with lemon, really. Tea is best, although he could add it to coffee if finds that better. I wouldn't suggest anything with milk, because that will clog his vocal cords more.
