I'm a very shy person and usually stumble on my words whenever I speak but somehow I just think the hell with it, let me just get it over and done with next minute I know, I'm done. =D

    v. I never thought about that. Maybe I'll try that this summer. Maybe even spring break. I've been meaning to go to some sort of self-esteem class, but maybe a presentation class could help me out.

A comfortable place? Hm. That just might work. I've always looked at the wall but somehow I manage to always make eye contact with someone. Thanks for the tips! :D

I was the same way until I went through a public speaking class during a summer program. Going through that class helped me get more comfortable giving presentations.

I find that focusing on something in the distance, or imagining being in a comfortable place helps me become more comfortable to finish the presentation.

kmcgeezy Thanks, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. :] Haha, I'll try my best to fake confidence. Hopefully I can pull it off.

cho-nee-dono I'll try to talk to my teacher about it. Whenever we do presentations, he always adds to the fact that whatever job we may have, we will eventually have to do some sort of presentation so we have to get good at it. I understand what he means but I never seem to make any progress with it.

Hey some people just aren't meant to be public speakers. That's not in your skill set. And it's something that I can understand that you are afraid of. Honestly, you should be able to approach the teacher with that and the teacher should undersand. If not well than that serious FAILS. You shouldn't have to do something that is so seriously disturbing to your emotional health.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you!
    I am the same way!
My trick is to just act like you know what you're doing and avoid eye contact at all times!
It may be scary, but it's apart of life and it sucks.
That's the only advice that I can give you.
    I wish you luck.
