Why are most mibba people against partying/drinking? - Comments

Mirroring what a lot of people have already said - I'm not at all against drinking. I'm something of an alcoholic, and I say that with the knowledge that I'm only kind of joking. But...I'm also not a minor. It's legal for me to drink. For you and your friends, it's not. No one is going to just "accept" that you drink until you hit the magical age of 21. Deal.

I'm all for partying. As long as you're not stupid enough to drink and drive.

I don't care if people my age drink because I'm legal. If your legal or really damn close to it, then I say who cares if you drink as long as it's responsible. What I can't stand is the people who drink when they're like fifteen or even younger. I know someone who has a younger sibling that's like fourteen and their parents let her and her cousin drink like a fish if they want. I find this to be wrong. My friend though, can drink all she wants and I don't care because at least she's 21.

I think anyone who's against all drinking no matter what are silly. Drinking itself isn't bad. I personally enjoy getting a bit tipsy when other people are around because I get really giggly and it's fun. But I don't drink loads and that's the difference.

Just cuz most people drink underage, doesn't make it right. Just cuz you aren't feeling the effects right now, doesn't mean you won't feel them later. I'm 15, and I'm not planning on drinking in the near future. I've tasted various forms of alcohol, and that's as far as I go.
Which is my personal choice. It's not that I don't have the opportunities; it's correct that most kids do. It's that I choose not to pursue them.(Like, for instance...right now I'm typing this instead of going to a sweet sixteen party that most definitely has alcohol.)
So if you want to get f*cked up on alcohol, I really can't stop you. But if you post a journal about it, I might take that as an invitation to share my opinion on it.
And no, my parents don't get wasted. They've never gotten wasted.
I'm not sure where you get the correlation between slut and alcohol...many sluts probably drink, but that doesn't mean everyone who drinks is a slut.

I like it and I don't mind if others drink...as long as they share some with me :P I'm allowed to drink this christmas, my mum even bought me WKD, but that's only because my 18th is just 9 months away. It's a whole lot different for teens that are, say, 15/14. Then again, it's their choice

I know that most people on here are from 13-16, and they're underage, but come on, it can't just be most British teenagers that go out drinking underage.
And alcohol isn't 'bad' for you, only if it's consumed in large amounts. I mean, anything and everything can be 'bad' for you. Vegetables can be bad for you.

Okay, I should say. I'm not underage drinking! 18 is the legal age, but only up to 21 %, but getting vodka and stuff isn't hard!

I don't approve of it because a lot of mibba is underage, and underage kids shouldn't be drinking.
But I don't judge people for drinking, that's their choice. I don't enjoy drinking because I've had bad experiences, so I don't like drinking nor being around someone who is drunk.

Lulz. I suppose it's more of a "moral" thing? Lots of people come from families that are strict when it comes to not drinking, etc. Or they realize the consequences, or they don't find any fun in getting wasted. I drink, but only with my family and not to a point where I get wasted. I see no point in it, really. What's so fun about a hangover?

There's a difference between drinking a few beers with friends and getting so wasted you don't know what you're doing. But, meh, we're all different when it comes to having "fun".

I don't think most Mibba people are against drinking. Most Mibba people are, however, underage, and therefore should probably not be drinking.

I don't care if people drink. Like, if they're just having a good time COOL. But I'm not going to join in. I think it's stupid, though, if people only do it because they're pressured, to look cool, or when they abuse the living hell out of it. Now THAT'S what grinds my gears.

Alcohol is gross but I don't give a shit if someone drinks.
I'm high all the time, sometimes even at school or around my parents. *shrug*

I like drinking :P Even though I'm underage. I've been drinking since I was 14. I'm aware it's bad for me and I really don't care. I mean, I'm not saying other people should be getting drunk at 14, that's just me. It just depends on the person really.
