I tried learning Elvish with my friend when we were fourteen. It kind of failed though. All I know is how to say "My name is..." XD
But We pretty much went about it the same way. Just googled sites to learn it. I really envy the people who are like... fluent in it. I mean, that's a lot of dedication to be fluent in a fictional language.
I love LOTR and JRR Tolkein. Have you read the books? I found out a couple of months ago that his son collected together his writings and published a 12 book series on the history of middle Earth.
If you've read the books, I really suggest giving them a go. It's all about how the elves came to middle earth and has a lot about their interactions with the different races and everything. It's so great. :)
