Just quickly write down the gist of your ideas on a piece of paper or something (it only requires a few words) so you don't forget them. But make sure to be specific enough. I used to write and draw comic strips, and whenever I got an idea, I wrote down a word or two on a sticky notepad so I would preserve my idea for later. One night, I had this AWESOME idea; it would be my most hilarious strip EVER. So I wrote down two words to help me remember it, and then went back to bed. The next day, I went to my notepad for my idea, and it said, "gym membership." And all I could think was..."What does that mean????"
