I'm going to have to agree; the grammar rules are there for a reason. If peope can't understand your storied, the quality of your creativity honestly doesn't matter.
By no means is that saying you should quit, however! There are a lot of resources on this site to help people with grammar and such. There's a thread or two in the forums, and there are betas; people who will read over your writing and correct it for you. I'm a beta, for instance :)

There are rules for grammar and spelling on the site and one must attempt to follow them to the best of their abilities and try and improve. Them telling you is better than getting your story reported all the time. If you try to be sensible at least, then this is the site for you and screw haters but when they make sense they arent totally wrong.

This site only pushes you to become a better writer through being proper and is the next step up from writing and not caring if thngs gets spll3d l!ke dis or if there are no periods or paragraphs.

If you really want to write like that and dont care about readers or getting feedback on your stories then quizilla is the site for you.

Continue writing by all means, but people might not be being mean. They might be trying to keep your story from getting reported. There are guidelines for stories.

Don't listen to them dude, if you enjoy writing, just ignore the fuckers. As long as you're trying, you'll eventually improve in both spelling and grammar, just don't give a flying fuck about them. Keep writing, keep getting better, keep enjoying yourself.

Everyone writes in a different way, no one will ever fit the rules, so I say have fun with it and let them hate. At least you know they're reading.

Sometimes not writting it perfectly make sthe story better, at least in my opinion. It gives the story personality :)

Hey, don't listen to what they are saying. You enjoy writing, so don't listen to them. Creative imaginations are amazing, use them. Don't be weary, just make sure your spelling is relatively good; perfect doesn't exist. Have fun doing it, and don't give in to them.
