I believe that there are people who are very well-liked and know a lot of people. I don't really believe in popularity. In my school, you're 'popular' if you: play more than two sports, make good grades, know everyone in our school and the 'important' people (AKA the athletes) from our rival school, are kind, dress nicely, and party at least one night of the weekend two or more times a month.

Isadora Pierce Yeah, I feel that way most of the time. In my school, though, the popular kids aren't exactly very kind, so sometimes you feel like you wish they wouldn't do that to you.

I think the people who try to be popular never will be. Either you're well liked or you're not. That's not to say that if you aren't the center of attention that no one likes you at all, it just means that you aren't the one everyone likes. Who cares anyway at this point, if you have friends, be happy about it. Don't go striving to be on the top of a stupid social ladder that won't matter in 3-4 years.

My 'friend' is a liar. Nothing she says is true. Literally. I mean, she doesn't lie about big things like 'oh you're friend's pregnant' or whatever but every single thing she says to me is a lie. She told me she won the euro millions but told my other friend that they are poor. Like... the shit? She says a lot of the people in our year have mental problems because her mother works in their hopsital. OH MY GOD. Is she stupid?! One day I told her to shut up lying and she just wouldn't speak to me for the dya but continued lying again the next day.

I just pretend I believe her, it's easier. /rant lololol

Aaden I live in a fairly medium-sized town and popularity is what matters. It sucks, but I'm used to it. I have my other best friends, you know, and most of the time, we just laugh at it.

Popularity doesn't really bother me, but there aren't really "popular" people at my school. We live in a small town, everyone's parents make them same amount of money, so you don't really see the have's and have-not's. We have one mall, so everyone pretty much wears the same type of clothing and shoes. Everyone grew up together, so we're all pretty much friends. Maybe I just don't see it.
