This is really quite interesting!

Another interesting concept is, how do you know the people you talk to over the internet are real people? How do you know it's not just a computer generated personality?

v. haha More like I have a long walk back to the dorm from class. I usually talk to my mom on this walk, but she's on vacation right now, so I couldn't call her today to entertain myself. XD

This is a question that really does mess with my mind. I guess what we believe exists may exist for us. But if it is there truly. . . I really don't know. That makes me wonder if some people do exist and some don't; they're just there. That would be kind of strange. Haha. You have a lot of time to think of these things, don't you? xD

v. Depending on which theory you look at (though most say this) you think he exists, because your mind compensates for something your craving, and inserts a guinea pig. Like you want something furry to play with: Hey look, a guinea pig!

And you're not simple minded. You just sell yourself short.

And you want ME to comment on this? Simple minded me? I don't know. I've heard theories similar to that. Like because right now, at this very moment, because I cannot see, hear, taste, touch, or smell my guinea pig, he does not exisit. But I don't understand how that works because when I walk then 10 steps to my bedroom POOF there he is. Or is he...?

I do too! I watched it again last night, which is what spurred this pondering. XD My roommate wants to try out my experiment as well, but we both agreed it would probably have to be done in an acting class, where no one would giggle about the person's confusion.

I loved Shutter Island. The book and movie were great.
