I do not under stand how this is spam? I did not make this, that's true, but I think it makes statement. I will change the title if it brings offense to anyone, but I am going to keep this up.

Does anyone else think of The Flintstones when hearing the word gay?

Also, why should we stop the negative connotation of the word gay? It's not like it actually means homosexuals, or it didn't when it first started out. Now, it does, but that's only because we make it so. And we also make it describe something negatively, and it means happy. So, why take away the defintion of "bad?" It's just a word with multiple definitions, that's all.

To me, the fact that this is "spam" doesn't matter at all. This IS a meaningful journal, and although she did not think it up herself, it still reaches out to a lot of people. That's not spam.
    I say, keep it up.

And the point in the homophobia is gay statement is that most people see the word "gay" with a negative connotation. Like, "I can't go out tonight - that's so gay!" It's just a different use of the word that is generally accepted by the population and therefore they can connect with it. So, no, it doesn't put a more negative outlook on it. All it does is use the slang word.

I think that homophobia is gay line is very tongue-in-cheek and amusing 'cause it just shows how stupid calling something 'gay' is. But Bella's right, yeah. XD

What Bella said, and aren't you insulting gay people by implying that homophobia is "gay" in a bad way?

I actually hate that "homophobia is gay" line, because the point of fighting homophobia is to stop things like that being said, and one of the biggest issues is to stop the use of the word "gay" to mean "shit or bad", which you just did.

    >_>

    Bella's right, by the way.

If you copied this from somewhere else and just pasted it here then this counts as spam I'm afraid.
