i hate the way commercialism can take something so pure and contaminate it...
there was one bit in the documentary when a newsreader was reporting on grunge and was blantantly laughing at it, then they showed 'grunge fashion' on the paris catwalks... i was disgusted

There's a theory that Courteney arranged for him to be killed and hired someone to do it...

And then again, what if he hadn't killed himself? How would he cope if he was still alive today, if he would cope at all?
    It was meant to happen.

It's pretty simple when you think about it though.
Great music is gonna grab someone in the music industries' attention, therefore the band will get big, therefore it's a case of whether you can deal with it or not.
He clearly couldn't, hence drugs and alcohol, then eventually suicide.

    Pixies are better...
and I've seen them live! ^_^

The story of Kurt Cobain is enough to send almost anyone to tears. I read a biography on him a few years ago, and I'm sure I cried at many intervals.

But in some ways, I'm glad they quit while they were ahead. I just wish it didn't end in such a brutal manner, y'know?

Yeah, I know what you mean, but come on. A band that great is obviously going to get big. He had to have seen it coming... well. Probably not with the reaction he had, but still.

I know exactly what you mean, but it's wise to remember: everything happens for a reason
