When I was in seventh grade, we did the same schedule day after day. My middle school also didn't do the 'Block Schedule' most middle schools do, we didn't get that until high school. The core classes [science, history, math, and english] stayed the same throughout the year but your electives changed at the middle of the year. But we didn't have anything called 'homeroom'. We simply went to our first period. Attendence was taken every single class. My school day was also 7:40am to 2:50pm.

Advisory is where they'll give you study tips, tell you your grades, etc.. At least, that's what we had at the school I attended. Although we didn't get this until high school where I went to school at.

In seventh grade at the end of the day we had a half hour of activity, where we had time to do homework and ask our teachers questions. I never had studio arts.

My classes stayed the same for the quarter, then we usually got a new exploratory (spanish, wood shop, computers, and art) class.

Homeroom is where you go to get your attendance taken; it's usually like fifteen minutes.
Advisory is basically a class to...talk? It's the same concept as a study period, except it's supposed to be more geared towards bonding and leadership and talking about your feelings and such.
I have no idea what studio arts is, I never had that.

My personal seventh grade schedule stayed the same for the whole trimester (a third of a school year) every day, but a lot of middle schools also use block scheduling, where your classes change.
If you Google it, someone can probably explain it better then I can :D

    Yup, it's schedule!
