    What I do, is use a simple layout, then massively edit it. Just learn about HTML and CSS. It's not too hard, most of it is pretty self-explanatory.

    I only make CSS-based layouts so I can only tell you how I do those. xD

    Basically you just set your profile up with a basic CSS layout and then go into the CSS box (My Mibba > CSS [on the right]) and play around with it. The hex codes are pretty easy to fool around with. Just open up another tab with a hex chart in it so you know what codes are what. Then just find the links that the original layout used for pictures and replace it with your own. It sounds a little complicated, but it's not. :3
