v Younger than that, even. Once upon a time, 13/14-year-old girls were married off to 30+-year-old men and as soon as they were married they were supposed to start having babies. By 20, a girl could have three kids already.

Because back in the day, girls were expected to get married in their teens and push out kids before they hit 20. >.>

Hey, if you read Twilight, stalking is still perfectly acceptable in that book!

Yes, lucky Juliet. She was stalked, then eloped with the guy who stalked her (whom she'd only known a couple days anyway), screwed him, and killed herself over him because he killed himself over a huge misunderstanding.

I think the beauty of Romeo and Juliet lies more in the way their love and deaths brought the two families together...but I still think the love story part of it is a little ridiculous.

So...basically you want to have a really short life and cram everything good in life into a few years?
Juliet died! As in dead! In the ground! Sure, she had a few days of fun when she was 14, but she died like 3 days later....
But hey, when we're young, we always want to be grown up so I understand where you're coming from.

I never read or watch Romeo and Juliet ever. I know what the story is all about and everything but I just never have enough interest to read or watch it.

I don't want a guy that's willing to die for me. I want a guy who's willing to live for me even after I'm gone, just to keep the memories of our love alive. Does that make sense?
