My boyfriend is 8 years older. I've been with him quite a long time too. If all he does is facebook messages you, then I don't know if its worth it with him so far away and not even budging to call. Just do what your hearts says is right.

My boyfriend is three years older than me. We started dating when I was 15. He was still in high school. We've been together 2 1/2 years.

You should talk to him about how you feel, why he doesn't call you, etc. But maybe if he's that far away, you should also let him go. It'll be hard, but it'll be a lot easier in the long run than holding on to a relationship that isn't going anywhere.
