Well, I'd hate to think a kid would do that, lol.
I would suggest trying to get him to train the dog, otherwise it can only get worse.

He isn't that bad. He just treats the dog like its a kid. For example when I come over. Of course, I am with him. the dog gets upset and poops everywhere because it's not getting the attention it wants.

That is really sad, what is the use of having a dog if they aren't going to train it?
It seems like most men are like that, my boyfriend begged me to let him have a puppy and told me she'd be trained perfect....Every time he comes in from playing with her and supposedly 'training' her, his hands are all bloody because he taunts her to bite them instead of the toy *sigh*

No, he hasn't trained him. It really annoys me.

If you haven't already, I would try punishing him for it. Like showing it to him, spanking him, and telling him no. No matter how old he is, it should get through eventually, otherwise, I don't know why your boyfriend would keep him anyway, because he apparently hasn't been trained at all.

the dog is fixed, but he is super high strung. it's like having a four-year-old child around.

My girl dog used to eat my clothing while I was sleeping in it... She managed to tear off my sheet to get to the extra padding underneath. But she outgrew it. It just kind of came and then left.
Maybe it would help if you fixed him? If he's already fixed, sorry for wasting your time :-/
