I know how! Wee. Yay, okay, here goes.

You'll need molding/shaping creme or gel. Cheap, cheap stuff. You don't need any expensive products or anything. If you've got a Dollar General near you, you can go there and get a little round container of this stuff from Garnier Fructis that's like that. It's green and not a spray bottle. Any kind of molding or shaping stuff will do good.

What you gotta do is take this stuff and get a good amount of your fingertips. Spread all over your palms and make sure you're all nice and slicked up. Then, run your hands through your hair a few times, and then start doing the scrunching motion. Scrunch it up, fling it around, take individual strands and wrap them around your fingers and whatnot. Just totally mess it up! You'll successfully get that awesome bedhead look. :D

You could add hairspray after that if you want, but you may not want to. During the day, if the hair begins to go flat, the creme will still be all over your hair, so you can just mess it all up again. It's really a pretty easy and fun hairstyle, and it's not too hard to maintain.

I'd aim for more of a creme, though. Gels get crunchy, and nobody likes crunchy hair. :p

Now that I've successfully jammed up your journal comments, I hope I helped. :)

Scrunch it with hairspray or mousse and when it's set, you could run a hairdryer through it to make it more tousled.

Well, if you get your hair wet and then put moose/hair spray in it, then let it dry, i should dry and look like that. Hope it helps!

    v. Agreed. Or you can buy a baby curling iron and just do tiny curls in various places?

I think, though, that hairspray might work. I have naturally curly hair, and scrunching it REALLY makes it crazy. Hahah. Naturally wavy hair should work the same. But there is some stuff on the market specifically for messing up your hair like that, and I think you can find it at any store. Just ask for hair scrunching gel.

Well, what helps the best is hair gel. You know? And sometimes, just wetting it and scrunching it with your hands is good, too. You say your hair is naturally wavy, so scrunching it while it's wet will make it look good.
