& it's better that you not take the easier class. Trust me on this one. Even my teachers agreed that once you take a class more focused on Composition, it's so much easier in college to write all the essays and everything.
v. My school just added the AP Language and Comp class this year so I decided to take it as well as the other AP English. One is focused on writing/rhetoric while the other is literature.
Thank you for your help :) I like the teacher and I love writing but I'm not sure if it's worth losing my sanity over haha
Oh, wow. It's possible to take TWO AP English-centric classes? As you mentioned, that is going to be a real challenge.
I suggest you drop AP Language and Comp; I took that last year, it was amazing, but Literature and Composition is more important. Because in AP Language and Comp there isn't as much of a focus on oratorical speaking or essay-writing. It's there, but not as prevalent.
I'm taking regular English Composition this year and let me tell you firsthand that it's challenging enough. But I like the class and the teacher. (: Hope that helps.
