Mibba Stories - When users tell you that your chapters should be longer. Most of the time if they have short chapters it's because if they were longer the story would be completely messed up. People who leave those comments need to leave that part out. It's beyond irritating.

    - "Girl in a boys boarding school". Illegal, and will never happen. The story is already unrealistic. The title itself already ruins the story before it's clicked on.

    - Overly mushy stories. Enough said.

    - Stories with excessive dialogue. I didn't click this to read your conversations. I clicked it to read a story.

    - Stories that are horribly written but still have a nicely made layout. It shows what the author cares about more.

    - "Jocks" and "Preps" are always portrayed as evil, immature little b¤tches. I can tell you now it's hardly ever like that and most of the time the person complaining has some envy issues.

One thing on Mibba itself that annoys me is when people waste their time complaining about Mary Sue characters. Clearly if the author writing the story really cared if you thought they were Mary Sue's then they would be different. But they don't so you may as well stop wasting your time and the sites time by complaining.

When the girl is under age and she falls in love with this hot singer. Really? How many times have you seen that happen!?
-When author's beg for a certain amount of comments.
-One girl in an all boy's boarding school. Is that even legal!?
-Fan-fictions where the girl loves the band and when they talk to her she's all bitchy and "so different."
-When the main girl and guy ARE SO F*CKING SEXY, OH MI GOD!HBFHJBF

I want a story where the girl isn't always popular,or an outcast, or so beautiful but still an outcast. I have never been in a school where the most beautiful girl with so many highlights is an outcast : /

Novels:When the plot is so easy to determine. Oh look! The guy dies! I saw that coming....

Like when one character is being mugged/assaulted, he just so happens to find a weapon and saves the day! -.-'

    v. I call that hormonal pedofila. XD

UM I dislike over mushy. Like yeah it's cute when the character finds their soulmate in a coffee shot but don't automatically make the characters CRAZY in love with each other.

I hate stories that get a million comments and subscribers just because it's about their favorite band, especially when the writing is terrible and horribly unrealistic.

    "I'm a girl in an all boy's boarding school!!!11??1!??1!1?!/"

When the parents are either barely there, totally awful and abusive, or let the child do everything they want to do. I never see a healthy middle ground.

When the 13-year-old girl who is 'totally hot and sexy' and the 27-year-old lead singer of Insert-Band-Here falls for the 13-year-old author insert.

When the author throws in pop culture references, or throws in band names and movie/tv shows and whatever that they like to show off their taste. Usually their taste sucks to me, so whatever. But if I see 'Nightmare Before Christmas' or whatever in another story again I will destroy someone.

God I love this thread in the Tips section. :P

    Crazy names for every character.
Extra bitchy ones no one in real life would talk to.
    The whole emo/prep thing.
Getting over a traumatic event over night.
    Falling in love overnight.
The story ending when they have sex.
Starting with waking up to the sun shining.
    Four foot nothing characters.
    A lot more

I don't like when things are too predictable. I see this a lot with Nicholas Sparks, especially. I mean, in every single one of his stories, someone will get cancer and someone will die (usually the same person). I get it that some people have a style of writing, but a style of plot is another story.

v Omg I totally agree with you on the authors who don't update until they get enough comments D:

Mibba stories: Overused cliche plots that just can't be redeemed at all. Bad layouts. Snotty authors who won't update until they get x amount of comments. Annoying people who repost their chapters for more attention.

Published Novels: When the author tries to reach out to young readers by making their story super dramatic and like "OH MY GOD SO BASICALLY WE WENT OUT AND THEN I LOST MY SHOE WHAT WILL I EVER DO I HAVE NO BOYFRIEND THE DANCE IS COMIG UP MY BFF JILL AND I ARE IN A FIGHT UGH MY MOM HATES MEEEE."

    Pretty much.

I'm not a fan of parody stories at all. I think they've been done so many times and it's rarely done well. I just really hate them, they're everything I hate in one story and made thirty times worse by bad jokes. :\

Not insulting you, they're just horrible.

Also, there's a thread for this on the forums under 'tips' if you're interested! :)
