sweet heart it's not ridiculous one bit! a dog can be your best friend, your everything. i never had a dog, but i do have a cat. now you might think that's sort of ridiculous, 'a cat? really?' but a pet is a pet, despite what animal it is. you spend your time playing and nurturing them and seeing them all the time and when their gone you expect to be fine with out it?

It's not crazy to cry over a dog. I cried for two weeks when my grandma's dog got hit by a car. I saw the whole thing. I tried to run out and get him but a car got him first.
