Sardonic Putting your head in a blender may end up being a tad messy ey'? I think maybe if you're having a block you should just write all your feelings out, just ramble somewhere on your computer or in a notebook, you dont have to post it.

Or take a break from writing and start reading others work, looking for inspiration, we all get writers block :-)

I hope everything turns out great for you =] and don't ever think that you're writing means nothing because that's a total lie. I agree with eight letters late. Don't think about the importance of what you're writing and how it'll impact people, think about how it makes you feel.

Write what you want to, write when you want to, write how you want. That's my advice.

.....I wish I followed my own advice XD

I read this thing once, I don't remember where it was, but it said that part of writing is to avoid the question, "What's the point?" because that just gets you down and discourages you. At 23, your time is definitely not running out - though I know it may feel that way sometimes. I'm 19 and I feel like that.

If you think you have the talent, all you really have to do is write. I totally get how you feel, like you don't have the energy, but at least for me, writing something good is energizing in and of itself. You just have to do it.

I always try doing that, but it just proves to be more pressure. I think I just have a mental blockade for like no reason lol. Maybe I should put my head in a blender >_>

Ya'know what you should do? Join a contest, I joined one today cause' I felt stuck with my writing, so its giving me a push, exactly what I needed.

Thank you <3 I know I should just do it, but...I don't know. I guess all the stress from work is affecting my writing as well and my self-esteem. lol. I should just sit there and write and just let the words and characters talk through me. That's what I used to do.

I'm even thinking of going back to fanfiction for fun to get the creative juices flowing XD

BTW, love your username, I am watching Lost right now >_> haha

I think everyone is feeling depressed today.

Don't ever think you're writing means nothing

That could be potentially dangerous, you said yourself you have talent, so why undermine that talent of yours? Be proud and happy with your writing.

Although I do sometimes feel like my writing isn't good enough, but then I just try again, I like to do it and even if other people may not think my work is 'amazing' im still doing it for my own leisure.

    As should you<3
