Anything from me! My poems are mostly about relationship drama, and are kinda intense, but I love them s maybe you will too! Specifically, chck out " things I shouldn't stay awake for..." and "If love is a disease then you are the carrier"
I'd love if you'd read some of my poems. My strongest poems are: The Virtue of Sleep, The Blind Man, A Soundless Figure, With Heart and Soul, and Thought's Grand Escape. I have a few other strong ones, but in my opinion, I think these ones are the style I am for. You can just pick one or two if you want.
If you want to read some of my poems that aren't as good, here are a few: The King's Truth, The Wall, Meditation, and most of my older poems, but I know what makes them lack quality.
Thank you so much! I don't mind any sort of criticism.
Alrighty. The poems of mine that I feel are my best are Lovers In Ink, Your Voice, Familiar, and A Toast. If you like those and want to check out others, that'd be great. If you want to read the ones I feel aren't as strong, I can tell you those too--sometimes reading poems that aren't good and figuring out why you feel they don't work helps to improve your own writing. Works for fiction, too.
Here's the link to the syllabus: http://web.stcloudstate.edu/sfklepetar/343As.html The 20 main writing exercises start a little under halfway down the page, and the 9 extra exercises are at the bottom. You'll have to Google some of the poems the professor mentions, as you obviously don't have the textbook we used, but most of them should be findable online. =) Good luck!
I have a ton posted. If you would like to know which are the ones I feel are my best, let me know.
Also, I did take a poetry class this semester; if you'd like the link to the syllabus I can give you that. It's got 29 prompts as writing exercises, and some of them worked really well for me. Plus the poems they reference are great for inspiration.
