Better writing awareness. - Comments

I agree. But some good writers are recognised...there are just a few that aren't.
Poorly written stories annoy me, so I just don't read them. It amazes me as to how they get millions of comments, but, meh..
I try to give good reviews to people. I don't know if my story is any good or not because it's only got something like seven comments. I don't care much though - I just look at the marks I get in English at school and that's enough to reassure me. Plus, for the story I've got on here, I'm not really writing it for anyone else...it's just for me. I've been wanting to write it for years, so I won't give up on it now.
I know a couple of authors on here who don't get as much credit as they should. Eventually they will though, I hope.

I think thats just weak. Giving up because nobody is pulling you up seems like a spineless thing to do. If they're willing to give up their talents so easily then maybe they were never cut out for it at all. In the meantime, I like the cause. Just telling somebody "Good job" can change everything for them.

Yes, but if they are unaware of their talent as a good writer, or think that nobody appreciates the efforts that s/he goes to to write their story then they shall just give up.

Bad grammar annoys me. I just sort of told someone off about they're shit grammar in their journal.
If a story has bad grammar I'll stop readng or tell them to pay more attention in school

I think truly great writers can survive without comments from readers. They should be able to stand up on their own.
