I'm nineteen and I've never had sex but I've been told all my work that do have sex scenes are pretty good, but that's mostly because I'm incredibly vague. I hardly ever go into super attentive detail with it.

My step dad and me had a convo like this last night. Hes like, why would you wanna have sex? So I said, because everyone else is. Everyone says not to rush into it, but WHHHY?! No I don't want sex at my age, but wouldn't mind when I'm 15/16

Indeed sex is overrated, mostly because of peer-preshure and the message sent by tv or movies. You are not cool unless you´ve had sex. When really its just...sex.

(I felt english by saying "indeed"...)

I'll give everyone that wants me to read their stories my analysis once I sober up. I enjoy reading people's work(s), so I would like to give it my unadulterated guess :)

Smuts? Is that when people start to flirt and then get deeper into it, touching and all that?? That's my guess by reading what was written.

I'm a virgin and I don't write sex scenes into my work. I just had a chick from work ask me if I did and I said no. She said I should put sex in my stories and that its so much fun! I'm starting not to like her so much. She's turning into that preppy ho who wants to change ME. Sorry, no. My hair is fine, no I'm not going to layer it. And no, I am not putting sex in my perfectly fine action stories. That way, men can like it too!

I think even if an author is a virgin, there is still enough exposure of sex in the media that they would be able to write things related to it with pretty good detail. I have a poem, "There's Truth In Wine," that is about sex, though I have never had an experience like it. Of course, there is a deeper meaning, but still.

Ahem... That's why I think I don't write sex scenes. Cause I feel like everyone would no that I have absolutely no experience. :3

Whether it's special really depends on who you're with, what it's like, what your relationship with them is like, and of course your own views on sex.

Though I do agree that it's an easy thing to come to regret if it's rushed.

(And yeah, a lot of people inexperienced in sex...well, it shows in their writing of sex scenes.)

Stories focus too much on the physical aspect and always go overboard with it. :c
