Take the ring and stick it in some form of lube then put the same form of lube you use on your nose, the same side you plan to put the ring in. Stick it against your nose, run it slowly and gently against your septum and once it hits the hole it'll just slip in. I promise, there is no reason to be nervous. It's really easy and only takes half a minute and you will find the hole. The septum hole is made larger than every other piercing for the pure reason that it's hidden inside your nose. Just be gently and take your time.
As long as it's 4 weeks old, it won't close unless you leave it out for more than a few days.
If you really don't want to do it yourself, have someone do it for you but follow the same directions: use some form of lube and run it gently on your nose until you find the hole. BE GENTLE because they're so sensitive and if they can't see the hole and just jab it in your nose, it will hurt.
Do you have someone else who can do it for you? Having someone digging around in your nose is kind of gross, but I always have to change my boyfriends for him, because finding the hole when you can't see it is really hard.
