True, my older cousin believes this and when I was about 11 she treated me like she would treat one of her friends (she was 18) and she admits it and I understood everything.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that, too. Adults think that way because they're "older" and more "wiser", which is a load of crap, because I know for a fact that kids have a better understanding than adults.

Good post, by the way. I like posts that go deep. =]

That's perfectly true. Especially when it comes to my dad and stepmom. They think they know everything, especially my dad. My dad harrasses me about my music; all he cares about is guitar lines and how well they can play; he alwasy has something to say about the modern bands I listen to.

    Examples:

    Queens of the Stoneage=Sex Pistols

    My Chemical Romance=The Clash

    Coheed and Cambria=Rush

He complains about bands not having a new sound. He's recently gotten into country music, and correct me if I'm wrong, but every slow country song sounds the same...and all country music is monotonous and 80% of the songs talk about the same things. top 5: America, beer, breaking up/cheating, parents, love
