Time and Character Naming - Comments

I try to find one that seems to fit my description of the character xD Basically, I either make one up myself, or scour online or the library for good enough names. I really like finding good names (( :

@rains.in.spain I tend to obsesses over named like that too. I'm actually currently lurking name sites trying to find something fitting.

Naming characters is such a huge thing for me. I don't know why, but if a character's name doesn't sound right, I'll obsess over it forever haha. So this means I usually just spend hours lurking on some baby names website to find one that suits them. I find I usually like to go for obscure or archaic names to make the character more memorable and unique.

I usually get inspiration from people I'm aware of, and then the character takes it from there.

My characters usually name themselves. If I'm really stuck on finding one I just stalk the baby name sites online. :)

I go through a load of names online until something fits, or sometimes I have a name and then shape the character around it.

I create the character and let them tell me what their name is.
