Frerard. - Comments

i LOVE mcr, and I think frerard would be a great couple, but i don't believe its ever going to happen, what with them both being married and obviously straight.

I think that the whole Frerard gimmick is totally fake but the fan-fics are kind of my guilty pleasure :)
I usually dislike slash stories (just because the characters usually never act like real people and are sex-crazed animals, much more so than in het fiction, and, as a polysexual girl, it's a poor representation of the LGBT community) but some of them that I've found are quite well-written. :D

I personally don't believe in it at all. I mean, they've stated in interviews it was just "stage gay" to rile up the crowd. Plus, I think it's kind of sad when people can't differentiate between reality and stage performance, if that makes any sense. Die hard Frerard fan girls can be really rabid.

I'm not too big on the fan-fiction either because it's usually poorly written and cliche.

There was probably something, but nothing as big as most fanfics make out.
I doubt we'll ever know too...
but I guess that's right because they deserve their own private lives too.

I saw a quote somewhere that when Frank first met Gerard, and before the band and what-not, Frank had a crush on Gerard. I'm not totally sure if it's a real quote, though. Maybe it was just a crush, or maybe it was more. I don't think any of us will ever know, though, haha.

I read somewhere they were together in high school... I don't know where I read it and if it's right though...

I think Frank was with Jamia before My Chemical Romance. I'm not completly sure on that, it seems like it, though. I know they were friends, though.

I thought the same, by saying It had to mean something 'cause there are plenty of other ways to support homosexuality I meant it may of meant something before the wives and kids...
But Frank's been with Jamia for ages now... so maybe not...:3

Haha, I think it is totally fake. Gerard and Frank have wives and children, as you probably know. I do love reading the fanfictions, though. They are actually pretty amazing. I like to write about it, too. Yes, I am a proud shipper of Frerard, though, I do not believe it is real.

I think the story behind it is how you said: 'I know the band said it was just a way to show that they're against homophobia.
