but dumbledore just said when voldemort tried to kill harry as a baby a bit of his soul went into HIM making him a horcrux but i didn't think he said anything about the scar.......... well maybe it did but i was crying and didn't read it haha

Yes, the scar is a Horcrux. That's what it meant in the prophecy when it said, Neither can live while the other survives. And both Dumbledore and the narration stated that.

It was unintentional, of course.

The last book was by far my favorite in the series.
