    some people just are down naturally. serotonin levels etc.

    and I agree, a LOT of people act depressed. emo subculture anyone.? hah.

    I feel like no one is taken seriously anymore cos of that :/

    But people act like it to fit in occasionaly, and it does come down to being a teenager. :]

    My friend was diagnosed with depression...when she was 13...
    I got put on suicide watch by a doctor.

    It depends on what you're acting depressed about I guess. Some people "act" depressed in order to seek attention. My ex boyfriend did.

    Yeah, but this is aimed at the people that worry that they do have it, and have not been to the doctors...

    Basically I am saying that a doctor wouldn't take me or maybe anyone else seriously as we are teenagers.

    I am such a pessimist, but yeah.

    BPD is diagnosed. You'd have to go see a professional and get tests done.
