Huh, that's strange that none of yours save. I really have no idea why that would happen. However, when using the editor, a good way to avoid glitches is to fill out the 'text' parts (including colors) of each section.
I hope you'll be able to save one you create! & to use it, all you do is on your layouts page, you check which one you want to use.
Plead tell me how to use these lay outs!! I can see the new lay out part and what I assume is the part to create lay outs but I don't know how to put any on to the blog and none of mine save
