  • I'm a New Age Christian and my personal belief is that sin is only that which actively hurts another. So, no, homosexuality is not a sin. Regardless of whether or not it is a sin, we cannot make laws based on an outdated religious book that has no place in the governing of modern day society.

  • Considering I am not religious, I don't believe in the concept of sin so I don't believe same-sex marriage is a sin. Same-sex couples should have just as much of a right to get married as any heterosexual couple. Marriage comes with over a thousands rights and benefits that have wrongly been ripped away from same-sex couples. Not to mention, denying them the ability to marry also takes away their respect, dignity, and equality. There is no logical or good enough reason to deny a person their civil rights and treat them as if they are less of a human being.

I have a wonderful and loving girlfriend who I may want to marry someday, I don't want someone telling me that the two of us should never be given that chance because we're a same-sex couple. That's just cruel. It is just flat out cruel to deny someone their civil rights, benefits, equality, respect, dignity, and treat them as if they are less of a human being.

  • I don't see it as a sin, simply because I am gay and I hope to marry in the future. And my relationship with God is iffy but if really is there, then he loves me just the same. He loves everyone, right?

Marriage is a right, a human right, and not just something extended only to a man and a woman, but to two souls in love.

  • I don't see it as a sin. I'm a Christian, and I think people should be allowed to love and marry whoever they want, no matter their gender. God says that all sins are equal in his eyes anyways, so if people do believe that being gay is a sin then it should have the same consequences as someone having sex before marriage. I don't see anyone getting bashed and not allowed to marry because of that.

  • Well I don't see anything as a 'sin' seeing as I'm not religious.
Where I'm from, gay marriage isn't seen as an issue at all. The UK doesn't have much homophobia at all and gay marriage is legal here. I don't know anyone who's homophobic.
I don't see why two people getting married is such a big issue to some people. Just because they're gay doesn't mean they're not human.
