The debate highlights important issues about inclusion and stereotypes within the gaming community. As we continue to foster a more welcoming environment for all gamers, exploring reliable gaming tools becomes equally essential. For those interested, particularly in Poland, https://pl.kasynopolska10.com/blik/ provides information on using BLIK, a secure and convenient payment method at online casinos. This service ensures that gamers can focus on their experience without hassle, enhancing both safety and enjoyment in online gaming.

I play Halo and that's only because my boyfriend got me addicted. I suck at it though. I'm definitely not a gamer girl. I can't even get through one easy level of Mario without dying.

Play Mario Kart 64 with me for about ten minutes and you will never describe it as a loving game again.

If you find the right people, Mario Kart can stop being a loving game real quick. Any game can be "violent" if you find the right people to make it that way. XD

I feel like the term "gamer" just causes problems for everyone. Some people use it to brag and carry a "holier-than-thou" attitude. And then there's people who post things like the tumblr post you spoke of. The term just causes problems it seems. I'm a girl and I play a lot of video games. Big whoop. When I'm alone, I do cuss depending on the game I'm playing. But when I'm playing with someone else, I try not to cuss (though that always doesn't go so well). I don't think how much I or anyone else cusses determines how much of a "gamer" someone is. If people want to fight over what constitutes as a "gamer", let them. I'll just be sitting in my own little corner, enjoying my games, and mostly ignoring them. Coffee

That being said, I consider any video game to be a "real" video game. Life simulators like The Sims are video games. RPG games like Pokemon are video games. Fun little games like Mario Kart are video games. If they fall under the category of a video game, they're a "real" video game regardless of what their subject may be of.

"What's irksome is when people (usually girls, unfortunately) use the term "gamer" to brag, as if it makes them better than others, and then in reality all they've ever played is Sims."

Exactly what I was thinking. I play video games but I would hardly call myself a "Gamer girl". I am just someone who enjoys actually playing a wide span of video games because I find them entertaining, not because I am trying to act "cool" or impress some guy/friends. It makes me mad when I see posts like that, especially on Tumblr.

A gamer is usually someone who plays a massive variety of games and who prioritize games over other stuff. I'm a gamer, because for example when Skyrim came out I ate take out and pizza and drank energy drinks and played it for basically a week straight with barely no sleep and I didn't go out or shower once. I play tons of different games and I've subscribed to gamer magazines and belonged to groups and gone for weekends where people basically eat pizza, drink energy drinks, and play games all night long. What's irksome is when people (usually girls, unfortunately) use the term "gamer" to brag, as if it makes them better than others, and then in reality all they've ever played is Sims.
