That's messed up. Our school isn't that strict. Our shorts or skirts have to be to the tips of our fingers or four inches from the crotch.

Then shoulder straps have to be a finger width long and as for cleavage if you bend over they shouldn't be able to see any part of the bra. So it's pretty easy going. But I plan on wearing a strapless bra my first day and if they ask me to change I'm going to be all: "It's the first day and I promise to follow the dress code for the rest of the year if you let me off this one day."

Your first outfit, I can understand them finding your shorts too short. But your other outfit is, in my opinion TOTALLY CUTE, and very sophisticated and professional looking. The other girl's shirt was perfectly fine, and she even had a cami underneath to cover up a little. By today's standards, I don't see anything risque about any of the outfits. Either your school should calm the hell down or make their dress code more specific. And I mean, it's just clothing, it's not like you're wielding weapons and smoking crack in class or anything.

You should write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper and explain how the principle and school board are interfering with your right to an education, and tax payers are wasting their money by paying the salary of fashion police. That's ridiculous.

I don't know what's left for you to wear if you were to go by this principal's rules. Seems very silly. I had a uniform when I went to school (private Anglican) and as strict as they were with it at times, they were never that bad. Our biggest thing was wearing plain studded earings and minimal makeup, which was annoying but whatever.
    Your principal sounds unreasonable.

I can't see anything wrong with any of the outfits or anything. Your school is being ridiculous.

    Boom, got them working.

I wonder, with the first one, were they having issues with your shorts that were, as the name says, short?
