I know exactly how you feel.
Just work on it little by little; it gets easier.
I mean, I'm a really shy person too but I've been
making more friends that are guys lately.
Talking to a guy is like talking to a girl except
you alter the topics of conversation.
And a sense of humor helps, as well as a smile.
