    I agree with you. I think it's pretty easy to look at something and tell whether or not effort was put into it. If the point is effort, then a word count isn't the best way to do it because I've written drabbles that took more effort than thousand word oneshots.

    There is a 200 word limit because the admins and Dujo want the blogs to be treated like little mini articles or something. But yea, filling up the word count is a bit much sometimes.
