Open relationships...why? - Comments

  • Um, this is just my opinion, but I'm gonna have to agree with you. I don't like the idea of it and it makes me cringe when I hear that someone else is in an open relationship. It seems selfish to me. Like, if you can't wait for the person you love, then are you sure you really love that person? Are your sexual needs more important than the person you love? I don't get it. I don't like it. Clearly if I'm with someone who claims to love me and then offers to have an open relationship, he may not be as in love with me as he claims to be.

Because even to him/her, the thought of the person he loves being touched by another man/woman should make them sick to their stomach. I agree with you.

  • I believe that open relationships can work if both people have agreed to it and are completely okay with it. I myself would never enter into an open relationship because I don't think I could sleep with another person if I have a boyfriend. Even if my partner is okay with it, I would still feel guilty doing stuff like that.
