It was really weird. I didn't realize how much I really enjoyed your compositions until they were done. I missed the sound of them, so I replayed them a couple of times. They were really sad, in a sweet way. I hope you continue, despite Mr. J's obvious hatred of all things lovely. Good luck. :)

Well... Both fortunately and unfortunately, I'm stubborn enough to attempt to prove my worth even if it's in vain. I'm going to take this piece as far as I can and make sure that it's to my ideal liking, and that's when I'll go to Mr. J with it on a flash drive. You can't exactly say no when you easily have five minutes to spare at that moment. I'm hoping that it'll be fine-tuned enough by then to really impress him. I'm just afraid that Kyle will have beat me to the punch by then, and Mr. J might just pour all of his focus into that piece and only halfheartedly pay me any attention. Depending on when Kyle's "deadline" is, I have until March to continue working. I have no doubt that Mr. J would use both of our pieces for the spring concert, considering we did two student pieces at the same time a couple of years ago. It's just getting him interested that's going to be the challenge.

Ah, whatever the case may be... Thank you. Honestly. That means a whole hell of a lot. Arms

Wow... Both of your pieces are gorgeous. The second one is really beautiful. I hope you try to convince that conductor of yours to give it a listen, 'cause it should be played. Give that 'Kyle' a run for his money.

Honestly, you've got a lot of talent, so brag away if that's what you want to call it, but I don't think it's bragging if you're telling the truth.
