I agree with you on this! I have loved MCR for a long time now and I love Danger Days and I also love the songs they're releasing now! I try to ignore some of the comments people have made about danger days and them now and just no shut up all of you! MCR has saved my life moe times than I can count and their music continues to speak to me and help me through hard times. Okay sorry mini rant over! I am done now.

@ BabySkulls356 Legitimately, they never broke up. However, from what I've read, after the Black Parade, they were tired of everything and considered just kind of "fading away." I remember at their last Black Parade era concert and Gerard said, "If we never perform again, keep yourselves alive." Oh god, everybody was freaking out.

Anyways, I don't really mind people not liking Danger Days, to each their own, you know? However, I cannot stand when it becomes their obsession to make it known they hate it and harass people who actually like the album. That's where it becomes a problem for me. I'm just happy they are putting new stuff out. I appreciate it all.

    Makes sense.
Sorry for asking, but I have to:

    Did MCR even break up?
I've heard it both that they did and that they didn't.
I'm a very big fan and I just would like to know for the ease of mind.
    Thanks.

I simply asked... Why did they not think it was ready?
    I think it was ready.
More than ready. I think they just needed to simmer us down for the pure aweomness of the album, which is where DD comes in.
I won't love DD any less either.
I think CW was just to far ahead of what they had wanted to be released.
I love the sound a lot.
And it tears my eyes up to think Bob recorded on that album.

That's why I never read comments, nor get involved in any of my favorite bands' fanbases anymore, at least via youtube (I won't even dare go near tumblr or twitter). You either have trolling haters that get their rocks off by annoying the fans that should just be ignoring them, or you get the insane crazy fangirls/fanboys that say the most stupid crap and think they're so smart. It shouldn't even matter what other people say, to the fan or the artist. It should be about what YOU as the fan likes. And I'm not saying "you" as in reference to you who wrote this blog. I say "You" as in anybody who reads this comment and "Fan" as in fan of whatever band you like.

In my honest opinion, I don't believe a few people saying negative things would influence a band to break up. I've never heard of a band breaking up because of fans saying negative things about them. Most bands break up when they decide it's their time to call it quits to begin the families that they want, or move onto other projects.

yep. it's true. it's annoying, but there's nothing we can do, I do love the new songs they released, it does sound like the 'old MCR', and I didn't really like danger days, but it wasn't awful.

I don't see how saying 'MCR is back' is such a bad thing. Sure, they're not properly back because MCR5 hasn't been released, but they are back in terms of releasing music with these two-song packages they're doing each month.
