Oh hey, it's been a while.
But yeah, the change in temperature does seem pretty extreme for places we can live in, I suppose. (and I say that so that I can ignore deserts. lol)
And while it's quite similar here in California, I don't think the change in temperature is that as drastic as yours is; if I had to estimate the lowest was around 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Then again, I'm probably the crazy one for wearing 4/5+ layers regardless even when it's warm enough for people to be in short sleeves. lol (and my logic is, if it gets too hot I can just take something off, but if I'm not wearing enough and it gets cold...)
Anyway, I'm getting off topic here.
I hope the weather will improve over there for your brother soon, though. It wouldn't be good if something happened because of the weather.

Maybe we can blame global warming. That messes around with the weather a lot.
Then again, that doesn't really help, and we people were the ones who started that in the first place. -___-

Anyway, yeah. I never really liked winter that much, it's too cold for me.
But hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas regardless of the weather. :P

this is going to sound super weird but I have the weather for florida (and oregon) saved in my phone along with all the places in england I live and your weather always seems to much nicer than mine!!!! I hope your brother's going to be alright this winter

I live in California, same exact thing! Noon: able to wear short sleeves and sandals. 5pm same day: freezing, raining witht 20mph winds.

And I thought English weather was weird. ^_^

Winter is the one thing I will not miss about Florida. I prefer my New York winters. >_>
