I would look to other authors for inspiration since you are new on the subject. Just try a quick search of "smut" into the stories search bar. You can learn a thing or two from them. I think a lot of people have actually written journals and articles about what they like and hate about certain things in smut so you could search that term here in the blogs section as well.
