If you're looking for originals to read, I have one and a sequel you could read. I write 1D stories too but that's not all I write. I agree with all the comments below. Fan fiction is still creative, just as much as an original story is.

I wish they had a site that was ONLY original fiction. They probably do somewhere, but I have no idea where.

One direction fanfics are the reason I don't like the band. But may I recommend my original stories? I have two on my page: a time traveling/Victorian romance and a zombie apocalypse story.

I have to agree with everyone that commented on this profile. You could click on the Original Fiction tab under stories and it'll filter out most of the fanfictions under that tag. But other than that, just ask for some reccomendations or something because One Direction fanfiction are all over the internet and you'll run into them on wattpad as well. And like i feel sane said, fanfiction also requires a lot of creativity in terms of actually thinking of a plot and some original characters for the fanfic to make the lives of the premade characters more interesting.

Instead of calling this a Creative Writing site, they should call it "All the fan-fictions you could find" site.
I think it's quite a stretch to not include fan fictions as creative writing. It still requires a great deal of creativity to make a good plot and original characters, even if you aren't creating all of the characters.
I think all of the '1D taking over this site' complaints are being taken way out of porportion anyways. Yeah, there's a lot of them, but there's no shortage of other stories either.

Also, in terms of 1D fan fictions, they're all over Wattpad too, so switching isn't going to make a difference.

One Direction is everywhere, not just on mibba. Everyone is still in a craze over them, so it's no surprise. Though, I have found many amazing original fiction on here, simply by looking and asking for recommendations.

You really have to search for original stories on here, and that's fine with me. If you ask others, they are willing to suggest good stories that aren't all fanfiction.

Same here. I love Mibba but it has just been dull around here for a while. I can't seem to find any stories that interest me anymore.
